This place was a wonderful surprise! I stopped in just for a quick lunch to go and was met with a wide array of banh mi options that are very much like those I saw in the north of Vietnam; I was also impressed with the real fruit smoothies (another classic in Vietnam, and also found in Laos and Cambodia). I had a Chinese-sausage-and-egg banh mi and a mango smoothie, and they were both awesome, although the drink was a little sweeter than I'd like (sweetened beyond just the mango itself). The service was great there too, with staff being responsive and helpful and completing the order quite fast. The place is small but well-organized and has a few indoor tables, although I got my order to go so I didn't try them. The interior is bright and welcoming. I'm very glad I found this place and will be back, with friends and family!

I stumbled upon this small hole in the wall sandwich shop and I am so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the staff. The service was exceptional and they were so helpful in recommending some of their best sandwiches. I tried the chicken ban mi and banjamjn button sandwiches and they were absolutely delicious! The flavors were incredible and the ingredients were fresh. I could tell that a lot of care and attention went into making each sandwich. Don't be fooled by the size of this shop, it may be small but it is definitely mighty in flavor. This place is a hidden gem and I am so happy I found it. I will definitely be back to try more of their amazing sandwiches. If you're looking for a delicious and satisfying meal, be sure to check out this sandwich shop. You won't be disappointed!

Service is great every time. I think it's a family business. Probably the best sandwich shop in town. All their sandwiches are great depending on what you like and taste is. Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious and strong. You can ask for less condensed milk if you like and they will adjust it for you.

This is my wife's fav Vietnamese coffee spot. The staff are awesome and very family orientated. They are super kind. We love supporting family businesses !

My wife and I visited Cafe Aroma in July 2024. She had never been before, and I had visited 3-4 times prior to this experience. I understand they are now under new ownership. It's a quaint little place that a little difficult to find if you don't already know where it is. That being said, it's decorated with some art and very cute inside. It was a very hot day and it was noticeably a bit hot inside. Air conditioning would have been nice, but they did have fans on at least. Now on to the food. I ordered Pete's Panini. It comes with Ham, Pete's sauce, jalapeño, onion, bacon, and pepper jack cheese. It was very good and filling. Also came with a choice of side between mac salad, potato salad and a couple others. I let my wife choose and she chose the potato salad. She mentioned it was really good. For her meal, she ordered the tuna salad sandwich. It had fresh tomato slices, lettuce, and dill in the tuna and she mentioned it was very good! All in all, it was a wonderful experience. Cafe Aroma is a wonderful spot in Manteca and you should try it soon. Also, they have some of the best Bahn Mi sandwiches in town!

This is one of my go to spots for lunch. Everything I've tried on their menu has never disappointed and flavor is always on point. The banh mis, vermicelli bowl, and pesto BLT are so good!!! I'm so glad Cafe Aroma is nearby and highly recommend for brunch/lunch. It can get busy during lunch time since it's such a popular spot and can get crowded since space is limited. Service is always exceptional. Thank you for the amazing food!

What a great spot! I'm always looking for a good sandwich spot and seems I've found it! They have so many great choices of different types of sandwiches (including banh mi) as well as a great drink menu! I stopped by for lunch and while the place was busy, I was able to walk right up and order without a line. They were very courteous and welcoming. I placed my order and it was delivered to my table within 5 minutes. Here's what I tried this time: Chinese BBQ pork Banh Mi Iced Matcha Latte The bread was perfectly toasted, crispy and soft at the same time. The sandwich had the perfect amount of goodies inside and the flavors were delish! They have seating both indoor and outdoor however many tables were only for 2 people with a few that have 3-4 possible. Parking was easy as they are in a shopping center. This was a great family owned spot that I'll definitely be stopping back by to try more of their specialties!

The new group of people are just as friendly as the previous people who made it through the pandemic in Manteca but have moved. There have been several owners since I've been in town almost ten years. The VietNamese Iced Coffee is always the best you can find in town. The previous time I was here, I had them add a bit of white mocha, which was interesting. I got the Shrimp Burger today, with fruit cocktail. It was pretty much perfect. Prices have changed a bit and I was a little surprised at the final total, but I will wait a while before another such purchase. It's about 1.75 miles' walk to this restaurant. I wasn't feeling my best and one of the staff hurriedly cleared the staff table for me, so that I could sit. Later, someone was coughing and another person rushed water to that woman. When you go somewhere else, they look at such people and say to each other "I wish they'd stop coughing. They'd better not make me sick." or some such. These people care about people, though. I hope they have great success!

Great sandwiches for an even better price. Sweetest staff ever! Totally worth checking out Café Aroma. Made a pit stop here for lunch. We had luckily beat the late lunch crowd on Saturday afternoon. They have a mix of American and Vietnamese cuisine. I shared half of the turkey club and roast beef sandwich with my friend. Both were the perfect size, quality ingredients, well toasted and really tasty! It also comes with a side, either fruit, Mac salad or potato salad. The Mac salad was ok, the sandwich was the star of the show. The interior isn't great for groups bigger than 4. Overall, would totally recommend this place to anyone in the area.
